Installing Into a Home That Doesn't Exist Yet
New construction AC installation is a fundamentally different job than replacing a failed system - there's no existing ductwork to work around, no old equipment to remove, and the system has to be designed alongside the home's framing rather than fitted into it afterward. For builders and homeowners managing new construction in Forest Acres, SC, getting the HVAC contractor involved during the framing stage, not after drywall goes up, is what allows duct runs to be planned efficiently instead of routed around problems that are already permanent by the time anyone notices.
Coordinating With the Build Timeline
Fort Worth AC Repair works new construction projects in stages that match standard building timelines:
- Rough-in stage - duct trunk and branch layout, refrigerant line routing, and equipment location planning coordinated with the framing and rough electrical
- Load calculation performed against the actual architectural plans, not a generic square-footage estimate applied after the fact
- Equipment installation once the home is enclosed and ready for permanent HVAC equipment
- Final commissioning after drywall and finish work, including airflow balancing room by room and full thermostat setup
Planning duct runs at the framing stage, rather than after walls are closed, is what allows for straighter, shorter duct paths - which directly affects how evenly the finished home cools, something that's difficult or nearly impossible to correct once construction is complete and finishes are in place.
Working With Builders and General Contractors
New construction projects run on tight, interconnected schedules, and an HVAC contractor who can't hit rough-in and final inspection windows creates delays for every trade behind them on the project. Fort Worth AC Repair coordinates directly with builders and general contractors on scheduling, and all rough-in and final work is completed to code for inspection sign-off, including the paperwork municipalities require before a certificate of occupancy is issued to close out the project.
